Actually it has not being long I started this course but it has done a lot in my understanding of networking. when I first did networking courses during my undergraduate it was like a threat in my course, in that each time I remeber we will have network class I feel so sad because I hate when I engange in any thing I devoted my time and I will not see the effect of it in my knowlwege.

It seems I wasted all my preciouse time in the class because I gained just litle understanding. With N+ as a selective course to MSCA would have knocked off my urge to enroll with the course, but thanks to ur collegue that visited my house , she was able to explain everything and convince me with the course.

Hence, ever since I started the course am happy with it because there is a big difference in my knowledge of networking. In that I have confidence within me when discussing network with any one despite the fact that I have a baby who is always there to disturb when am reading but the course work material seems to be easy and clear to understand with the little tiome I put into the study.

Am glad to enroll with the course, I can't stop to be happy with myself of what a chnge in me.

I fell behind with my coursework last month due to me losing my job and I was upset and stressed out. But now I am back on track with my coursework and catching up very quickly. I have also taught four new people about how to use a computer and how a computer works so I am very proud of myself and I'm glad I can help people learn a new skill that will come in very handy for everyday jobs.

Getting 100% in my first TMA also with what I learnt about the trouble-shooting models. I put into practice at work when the restaurant's P.O.S network went down and when the online restaurant booking system would not work. Here I used the Comp TIA's netwok+ trouble-shooting model to fix the problem.

After a difficult time adjusting to a new job, I have managed to get back on course and complete the A+ section of my study. I'm now well on my way working through the N+ section and revising for my exams on A+ which I know I will do well in!

Since starting my my new job 5 month ago with virgin media broadband as a 1st line technical support, it has been really tough going by trying to get time to do my studing and work the unsociable hours for the company at same time. some times after a tough day dealing with the public shouting at you on phones because there internet is off or mistreated by someone else, I have had to pick up the pieces and then try to study my N+ course, which I have eventually succeed in the last assignment of book C. The pressure gets to you every day as there is not enough time in the day to fit everything in, but I always try to make the effort, even after having the car crash which some days I feel not up to doing the college work, but I'm determeined and still want to achieve my goal. The IT department are willing to train me up aswell by doing shadowing in my own time to get extra experience and to help me with the course. So I feel this has been a good achievement in my part under all circumstances.

I often used to upgrade my PC and spending lots of money on motherboards etc. I used to think the more you spend the better the PC. In some respects this is true as we are using moore's law and components are getting more powerful by the day! However after getting through the first two assesments, I have begun to appreciate components a lot more. And that it's not worth forking out hundreds of pounds on upgrades when I have a great PC already!!

I've managed to get mum to use the internet. She couldn't even swith on a PC before!!

Even though my Grandfather passed away on 16 Feb 07, I have managed to get through to the second assesment (even though a little delayed). I'm hoping for a good score.

Over the past 3 months I have had to manage to find the time to study, while under pressure from working up to 12 hours per day, coming home and doing all the house work and cooking as my wife is pregnant and has a disorder called SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction), and giving up smoking while still attaining high marks on my TMA.

I started my MCSE course a month ago (January 2007). I am a single mother and live with my 21 months baby. My first language is French. I am learning English at the same time (four hours a week). I have achieved very good my assignments. I am working very hard because I need to pass the course and start a good job which will help me to take care of my little son.

Thanks to Skills Train for it's brillant idea to provide this kind of course.

At first I wanted to start the course, was eager etc, until........ I opened the Course Work file. I looked at it............ and again looked at it, and wondered had I done the right thing in enrolling.

I was overwhelmed by the content and amount of information. To say that I was daunted by the challenge, was a big understatement.

However, I started to plough through the course work.

After the first Two or Three sections I began to enjoy the work and I was learning.

I still feel a little daunted by some sections, but I am achieving good results and I have set my sights on finishing and achieving the Qualification.

However, I wonder how I can remember all the information to pass the final exam.

I have always wanted to make it in the men dominated career. Lets face it there are fewer ladies!.
Taking the bold step and enrolling for the MSCA proves challanging indeed, but where there is a will a way will be paved. My TMA,s results so far very encouraging inspite limited study time, balancing full time work and family commitments
